The Certified Surgical Technologist (Advanced) participates in the delivery of individualized peri-operative nursing care under the supervision and guidance of a licensed physician or a registered professional nurse. What We Require: Education: Pathways: 1. High school graduate or equivalent required. Successfully completed an accredited surgical technologist training program and holds a current credential as a certified surgical technologist from the National Board of Surgical Technology 2. Experience gained through hands-on experience and are grandfathered in the State of Va 3. Candidate has successfully completed a training program for surgical technology during the person's service as a member of any branch of the armed forces of the United States Experience: 5 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist required. Obtain and/or maintain licensure with the Va Department of Health Professions.
