About the Role We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on advanced mechanical design and analysis for missile systems, contributing to innovative solutions that support critical defense programs. Responsibilities * Perform mechanical analysis, CAD design, and/or mechanical testing of complex materials, structural components, or functional systems. * Utilize advanced structural and product design engineering tools and CAD software (preferably Siemens NX). * Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to designs. * Adapt or improve upon heritage features from previous successful designs. * Develop and manage test programs for system elements such as materials and structural components. * Oversee test activities and test article fabrication, including documentation of results. * Communicate project status and analysis/test results through reports and presentations. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2+ years of related engineering experience OR Master's degree in STEM with 1+ year of related experience. * Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance (active clearance preferred). Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. * Hands-on mechanical integration experience, preferably in aerospace. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49.00 - $67.00/hr.
