Job Summary: Perform routine maintenance piping scheduling assignments, which require the selection and application of resource monitoring principles, techniques and technical knowledge of a construction project. Job Functions:

- Perform duties within a precise limit or standard of accuracy (Quality Control).
- Develop detailed piping job plans including scope definition, craft hours, materials, weld procedures, special tools, equipment, permits, and QA/QC requirements.
- Perform field walkdowns to verify job scope, identify hazards, and confirm accurate measurements and constructability.
- Create BOMs, requisitions, and material reservations in SAP (or refinery CMMS); coordinate material delivery and staging.
- Interpret P&IDs, isometrics, piping specs, weld maps, and engineering drawings to ensure code-compliant planning.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, and Engineering to ensure plans meet refinery standards (API, ASME, OSHA, Washington State L&I requirements).
- Develop task steps with estimated labor hours and sequencing to support scheduling and cost forecasting.
- Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years or more in refinery maintenance experience.
- Prior experience as a planner, scheduler, pipefitter, welder, or mechanical technician in refining.
- Understanding of NDE requirements, weld mapping, metallurgy, and QA/QC documentation.
- Experience developing job plans for complex piping repairs, tie-ins, hydrotests, hot taps, and critical path work.
- Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols.
- The ability to communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and other departments about issues and solutions is important.
- Must be able to successfully complete the Company's Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client/Site specific training.
- MUST obtain and maintain active status within the appropriate drug testing program.
- MUST pass background check.
- MUST have TWIC card.
- MUST have a 20-hour high hazard facility training card.
Physical Requirements:
- Employee will be standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting.
- Must be able to hear, speak, understand and communicate effectively
- May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
- Will occasionally work at heights, climb ladders and stairways and work off of platforms while utilizing proper fall protection and safety protocols
- Must be capable of working outside in the elements including but not limited to the heat, cold, rain, snow and wind; and must be able to work for long periods of time, up to 12 hours a day.
- Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots.

As such, the actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of this range, and in certain circumstances, may fall outside the listed hiring range.
