Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Shift: 9 AM - 5 PM (Monday - Thursday) + Fridays (8 AM - 11 AM)

What Fuels Success Here:

• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic/industrial mechanic/machine technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on skills with older mechanical machines (gears, belts, shafts, bearings, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings or manuals.
• Comfortable with basic electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting (sensors, switches, valves).
• Problem-solver with a "figure it out" mentality and the creativity to improve machines, not just fix them.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work on-site every day.

Nice to Have

• Experience in cosmetics, food, or chemical manufacturing.
• Welding, fabrication, or machining skills (making simple parts, brackets, guards, etc.).
• Experience setting up filling, capping, labeling, and batching equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical manufacturing equipment, including shampoo filling and capping machines, perm and hair color production lines, and labeling, batching, and packaging systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and basic pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments, inspections, and parts replacement to ensure equipment reliability and peak performance.
• Fine-tune and optimize older machinery to improve consistency, efficiency, and production output.
• Design and fabricate custom parts, guides, brackets, and machine enhancements to improve functionality and reduce recurring issues.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to set up equipment for different product types, filling volumes, and packaging configurations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including repairs completed, parts used, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Follow all safety procedures, ensuring a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
