You will be a trusted technical partner to key customers, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to shape the next generation of Marvell solutions. What You Can Expect

Customer Success & Technical Leadership

  • Lead pre-sales technical engagements - demonstrating deep expertise in Marvell networking silicon and software.
  • Respond rapidly to customer queries and technical challenges with clarity, ownership, and urgency.
  • Assist customers with software bring-up, system integration, and complex debugging of Marvell Switch products.
  • Provide expert guidance on implementation of networking protocols (VLAN, STP, L2/L3, etc.) and advanced switch features.

Training & Enablement

  • Deliver tailored training sessions for customers on Marvell's features, architecture, and optimized implementations.
  • Create customer-focused documentation, sample code, and application notes that accelerate time-to-market.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing and Application Engineering to refine tools, APIs, and next-generation platforms.
  • Translate customer insights into impactful requirements for product and tool development.

Hands-On & Responsive Support

  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues via email, phone, remote session - and when necessary - on-site.
  • Engage directly in whiteboard design reviews and architecture discussions with top networking innovators.

Travel

Travel may be required to customer sites and Marvell facilities (industry events, trainings, collaborative engagements).

What We're Looking For

Technical & Professional Experience

  • 8+ years of software development background - real-world experience matters.
  • Strong proficiency in C and C++ development.
  • Deep expertise in computer networking - VLANs, STP, L2/L3 concepts, routing, switching.
  • Solid understanding of Linux user mode, kernel mode, and drivers.
  • Competency in embedded OS concepts and hands-on debugging.

Domain Knowledge & Tools

  • PCI Express knowledge is a must.
  • Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (SGMII, XFI, XAUI/RXAUI, SFI, 100M/1G/10G) is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable using lab tools - high-speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, traffic generators.
  • Familiarity with PCB design, signal integrity, and production testing adds strong advantage.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to convey complex ideas with clarity and confidence.
  • Strong presentation skills - you'll be educating both technical and executive audiences.

Bonus

  • Prior experience with Marvell Switching products or similar networking platforms.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

140,550 - 210,560, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
