Overview
We are seeking a Systems Analyst in Washington, DC to develop and maintain Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Baselines of assigned ship class in Government Sponsored Database in support of the C5ISR Modernization Process (C5IMP).
What will you do?
- Maintain Configuration Management of installed and proposed shipboard Combat Systems in accordance with Fleet Commander guidance (USFF/CPFINST 4720 series)
- Assist in identifying issues with installed and proposed systems. Support development and implementation of corrective actions.
- Develop accurate Warfare Systems configuration packages for Baseline Lock purposes and update those packages when required.
- Provide accurate Warfare Systems baseline packages for WS Certification purposes and update those packages when required.
- Support post-Baseline Lock configuration management and installation authorization processes
- Identify and help resolve issues with and between systems.
- Identify and help resolve issues with proposed fielding plans and operational schedules.
- Position has leadership potential.
Do you have what it takes?
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years work experience with operation/maintenance of US Navy shipboard Combat Systems.
- Experience with analyzing problems and developing solutions.
- Experience with utilizing databases for research.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and demonstrated ability to take initiative.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- BS Degree, technical schools, and/or certifications.
- Proficient with utilizing Naval Data Environment (NDE) applications, specifically Afloat Master Planning System (AMPS)
- Prior experience with Navy Modernization policies and processes
- Prior active duty U.S. Naval service with surface ship Combat Systems experience (Surface Combat Systems Rating, Surface Electronics LDO/CWO or Surface Warfare Officer).
Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $90,000-$110,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
