Child Injury Prevention Coordinator Emergency Medicine - Pediatric-Core Part Time 87194BR Job Summary The Child Injury Prevention Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Benioff Children's Hospital (BCH) San Francisco Emergency Department's Child Passenger Safety Program. This is a one- year grant program funded by the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS). The Child Injury Prevention Coordinator develops, plans, facilitates, monitors, and evaluates injury prevention projects, collaborates with San Francisco County initiatives, and provides clinically appropriate, evidence-based educational programs. The Coordinator works closely with team members to support quality and education initiatives related to child injury prevention. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $116,700 - $175,100 (Annual Rate). DEM administrative and research staff support the work of 97 full-time faculty and 50+ part-time attending physicians, a residency program, fellowship programs, and over 300 house staff and students each year.
