Security Officer - Tech/Media Access Desk

As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Access Desk in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and manage access for a dynamic Tech, Media, and Telecom location. You will conduct routine patrols of the premises, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related procedures and information.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, incidents, and any access control issues.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or unusual activity.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
