Position Description
Supports the organization through assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial information.

We offer a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility.
Essential Functions
Learn, understand and apply ATI's cost methodologies.
Perform financial analyses at the project and operating unit levels: program budget estimates and fee analyses.
Update project-costing system (Costpoint) from contractual authorizations, modifications and funding adjustments as required.
Review contractual authorizations and modifications as required and update project-costing accounting system (Costpoint).
Review purchase requisitions, vendor invoices, and bills for accuracy per ATI guidelines. Limited approval.
Prepare internal financial management performance reports and external customer financial deliverables as required.
Learn and produce existing reports out of Costpoint, TM1 and CER and future reporting tools.
Assist in preparation of government and commercial cost proposals utilizing established cost methodologies.
Assist with keeping the department procedures and desk guides updated and current.
AdditionalResponsibilities
- Identify and implement process improvements making the organizational more effective and efficient.
- Interface with contracting staff and management providing costing analysis and guidance as required.
- Collect and verify data for the annual operating plan and rate projections as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's and two years or Master's degree or; Associates Degree and four years relevant experience required. If no degree and vast documented relevant experience, HR and Division/Department may consider for entry into this level only.
- Strong computer skills, specifically the MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical skills required.
- Ability to think outside the box.
- Experience working as a member of a team, as well as individually, to accomplish goals.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven success working under pressure to meet deadlines which may require extra effort over normal working hours.
- Ability to serve external clients and internal customers and prioritize these responsibilities.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts.
- Deltek Costpoint experience preferred.
- Must successfully pass a background and credit check to access sensitive information and automated systems.
