Senior Procurement Specialist

As a Senior Procurement Specialist at Spectrum, you will lead cross-functional teams to select products and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships while partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver the best price, quality, and business terms. Your efforts will shape cost savings, minimize risk, and strengthen our business operations.

How You'll Make an Impact

• With minimum guidance from senior team members, manage complex strategic sourcing activities in procurement consisting of soliciting bids, analyzing supplier responses, and making recommendations on supplier awards
  
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to formulate analytical efforts and to define business requirements for procurement projects. Collaborating with budget owners; aligning on requirements, managing timelines and changes.
  
• Assist our Internal Sourcing teams with adopting our E-sourcing tool
• Assist Sourcing leads with large and complex Request for Proposals in the Contract labor category. Research and develop adequate sources of supply
• Maintain master supplier data
• Lead supplier negotiations using competitive benchmarking and comparative analysis
  
• Research and develop adequate sources of supply
  
• Evaluate the financial stability of potential suppliers
  
• Performs required business analysis including total cost of ownership
  
• Provide fact-based recommendations based on competitive benchmarking and comparative analysis
  
• Continuously seek out cost savings opportunities and lead efforts to realize those savings
  
• Manages supplier base and relationships, from onboarding and maintenance to evaluations and recommendations
• Maintain accurate procurement data; create dashboards; report savings, cycle times and adherence to policies

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  

Experience

• 2+ years of procurement experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using E-Sourcing tools; SAP Ariba Sourcing
• Proven experience working with Contract Labor/Professional Service contracts, rate cards, RFP's
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
