Bonuses may be prorated based on schedule. ~ 32 Hours/week, Monday - Friday, Day shift ~ Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) isrequired Position Summary An exciting opportunity for abehavioralhealth clinician to be part of a bariatric surgery and medical weight loss program, part of Maine Medical Center,locatedin South Portland, Maine. The Weight & Wellness program iscomprisedof a multi-disciplinary team including Nutritionists, Surgeons, Medical Assistants, MDs, Bariatricians, and behavioral health providers. This team works collaboratively to treat both adults and kids who areintheir journey to create a healthier self. The behavioral health clinician is part of this fast paced, high-volume practice, bringing in theirexpertisetooptimizeoutcomes for patients. Your role includes providing assessments and focused treatment to patientsof the practice.Treatment modalities include both individual and group therapy to address any concerns that may have been identified during the assessment.You must be comfortable working with both adults and kids, and families. The work is enhanced by being part of a medical team with solid experience in integrated work. Collaborative work with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians in the MaineHealth system adds to the experience. Individual supervision, group supervision, psychiatry consultation, and quarterlytrainingsare added benefits of this position. Summary The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
