Job Information

We are looking for a self-motivated individual ultimately responsible for successfully growing sales. This will be accomplished by selling products on our line cards and offering the services below to increase potential for the opportunity. These services include engineering & design, field service, service & repair, and offering complete system packages. The products that we provide, and service are industrial analytical systems, PLC & VFD packages, pump skids, MCC integration, and municipal process equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • 12-14 In person sales calls / week - Meeting with customers to discuss projects, equipment we have to offer, and meeting the customers' needs
  • Taking notes during the sales calls to make sure you have all the data you need to properly size the equipment
  • Being able to describe the customers process to the engineering team to help you properly size the equipment
  • Writing complete proposals with a complete scope of supply
  • Updating our Pipedrive (CRM) daily with:
    • Information on the sales calls made that day
    • The opportunities you have uncovered
    • New customer contact information
    • Upcoming meetings and scheduled events
  • Following up with customers on open opportunities and as they get closer to issuing a purchase order
  • Upon receipt of a purchase order, you must be able to provide an order write-up form, confirm accuracy against our proposal to assist with the handoff to either customer service or our engineering team to process and execute the order
  • Continually learn about the features, functions, & benefits of the equipment we offer
  • Manage projects from a 10,000ft level to keep a pulse on the project and being able to update the customer as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to feel comfortable speaking with customers
  • Four Year Higher Education Degree - Technical preferred
  • Five (2-5) year related Experience
  • Strong/motivated work ethic
  • Ability to communicate with customers
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • Work well with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Must live within the geographical territory

  • Occasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
  • Continually required to talk or hear
  • Continually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard
  • Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
  • Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions
  • Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
