The ERP Solution Architect is a senior technical role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to align with organizational business goals. This position bridges the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring the ERP architecture is scalable, secure, integrated, and future-proof. The architect collaborates with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to deliver efficient ERP functionality related to IFS Cloud. This role will report to the VP of Operations or CTO.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and requirements to design comprehensive ERP architectures that support finance, supply chain, HR, manufacturing, and other core functions.
  • Serve as a lead in the ERP configuration of the IFS Cloud implementation, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational strategy.
  • Participate in the design and integration with external systems (e.g., Workday, Vertex, etc.) for seamless data flow and efficiency.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, performant, and compliant with industry standards, while planning for future upgrades, cloud migrations, and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project managers to translate functional needs into technical designs and resolve architectural challenges.
  • Conduct solution reviews, risk assessments, and performance benchmarking; provide recommendations for optimizations and cost-effective implementations.
  • Mentor other team members, facilitate workshops, and create documentation such as architecture blueprints, process maps, and integration strategies.
  • Stay updated on ERP trends, vendor updates, and emerging technologies to propose innovative enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP implementations, with at least 3 years in a solution architecture or senior technical role.
  • Deep expertise in one or more major ERP platforms (e.g., IFS, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, JD Edwards, Epicor).
