As the Non-Duke Student Intern - Course Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting graduate-level courses focused on carbon accounting and certifications. Your contributions will help create an engaging and organized learning experience for students during the Spring 2026 semester.

The Course Assistant position offers an opportunity to work closely with Professor Holly Emerson, the instructor for ENV 790.10 and ENV 990.02. You'll gain hands-on experience in academic support and classroom coordination while contributing to sustainability-focused education.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with course logistics, including managing materials and coordinating assignments.
  • Support classroom activities and discussions.
  • Provide administrative and academic support to Professor Emerson.
  • Help ensure a smooth and engaging learning experience for students.


This position is not benefits eligible and requires approximately 5 hours per week.
