Position Overview

The Corporate Systems Security Officer (CSSO) plays a critical role in leading facility security operations and overseeing classified systems security for REDLattice. This role provides centralized authority and oversight for facility security, classified systems security, and SCIF operations across the organization.

This position is designed for a senior security professional with strong experience across DCSA/NISPOM compliance, DISS administration and auditing, and SCIF operations. REDLattice operates as a possessing facility, and the CSSO ensures that the company's security posture, classified operations, and supporting systems remain compliant, secure, and mission-ready.



Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the security program for REDLattice facilities, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including NISPOM, DCSA guidance, and customer requirements.
  • Serve in a Corporate Systems Security Officer -capable capacity, managing daily security operations and compliance activities.
  • Conduct DISS audits, reviews, and inspection preparation activities in coordination with government stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain SCIF operations, ensuring secure and compliant handling of classified information.
  • Support classified processing requirements, ensuring procedures, controls, and documentation align with customer and government standards.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce physical security measures to safeguard company assets and personnel.
  • Maintain security program documentation, including policies, SOPs, and System Security Plan records.
  • Maintain SCIF security systems, safes, and locking systems (including CDX-10 locks), and support access control and badging operations.
  • Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees supporting classified work.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for security incidents, inquiries, and investigations.
  • Liaise with government agencies and external stakeholders on security-related matters.
  • Manage Key Management Personnel (KMP) requirements within DISS and facility clearance processes.
  • Provide COMSEC security oversight and compliance coordination, including policy enforcement.


Classified Systems & Secure IT Oversight (Hybrid Scope)

  • Experience designing, deploying, and supporting offline Windows and Linux-based secure networks within SCIF and classified environments.
  • Experience with hardware- and software-based disk encryption technologies used to protect classified data.
  • Experience managing and overseeing system updates, patching processes, and security scanning activities for offline secure networks.
  • Strong understanding of secure network requirements and operational limitations inherent to air-gapped and classified environments.
  • Ability to partner with IT, engineering, and security stakeholders to ensure classified systems remain secure, stable, and compliant.


Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; eligible and willing to obtain a polygraph.
  • Minimum of 10 years performing in a certified possessing Facility Security Officer role or equivalent senior security leadership in cleared environments.
  • IT experience designing, deploying, and supporting offline systems in Windows and Linux-based secure networks within SCIF and classified environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with DISS administration, auditing, and inspection readiness.
  • Proven experience managing COMSEC requirements.
  • Experience supporting SCIF operations within a possessing facility environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
