Position Summary

At Genesys, we're transforming the customer experience landscape with empathy, AI innovation, and global impact. As a Project Manager in our Professional Services organization, you'll play a key role in ensuring delivery excellence and customer success across complex implementation projects. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through planning, delivery, and adoption while working collaboratively with Sales, Customer Success Managers, and Technical Account Managers. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead successful end-to-end delivery of Genesys implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budgets.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including Genesys-specific and integrated project schedules that incorporate client and third-party vendor activities.

  • Conduct regular project update meetings, reviewing progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation plans to ensure timely execution.

  • Manage scope and identify growth opportunities through Project Change Requests and recommendations of additional Genesys solutions that address client needs.

  • Provide consistent project reporting, including weekly status updates using standard Genesys templates and monthly leadership summaries highlighting key risks and mitigations.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and recommending process enhancements to improve future project outcomes.

  • Support a culture of accountability and shared success by aligning teams with Genesys' values and customer-centric mission.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Professional Services or technology implementation projects.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.

  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communication.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client presentations.

  • Proven experience delivering projects within defined budgets and timelines while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed to support business and client engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.

  • Experience working in SaaS or cloud-based environments.

  • Familiarity with customer experience or contact center technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
