DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will oversee the Western Region field offices that monitor state and federal safety compliance and licensure for health care facilities. Your work will involve directing field office supervisors to ensure operations are monitored and completed, overseeing routine meetings, and working with other management staff to ensure continuity. You will review and evaluate field office survey workloads, adjust field staff as necessary, and implement measures for accurate compliant investigations. Some of your duties will include assisting in the development of training programs, analyzing reports for complex or emergency situations, and reviewing legal orders for licensure actions against facilities. Additionally, you will serve as liaison with field office staff in making corrections and finalizing survey reports for presentation to Division Chief and facilities. The Western Region includes the Pittsburgh and Jackson Center Field Offices. The Pittsburgh Field Office covers the following counties: Lawrence, Butler, Armstrong, Beaver, Allegheny, Washington, Greene and Fayette. The Jackson Center Field Office covers the following counties: Erie, Crawford, Warren, McKean, Elk, Forest, Clarion, Venango, and Mercer. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Jackson Center. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Five years of health care facility survey experience, three years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity and a bachelors degree; or
- Five years of experience that involves the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures for health care administration, three years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity and a bachelors degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes the required three years in a supervisory capacity.
