Description of Task to be Performed: AnaVation is seeking a Senior-Level Software Developer to join our team to develop code, test, and debug new software or enhance existing software. The role requires a good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements to support a forensic and investigative ecosystem across multiple enterprise applications in a multi-enclave environment. Key Responsibilities * Develop, test, and debug new software solutions and enhancements to existing applications * Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them * Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements * Implement desktop design, testing, security lockdown, and integration with standard software packages * Integrate with automated patching and deployment technologies * Assist in development of software user manuals * Document applications, services, and environments for future maintenance * Automate application and configuration deployments and updates * Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities * Support the multi-enclave environment * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration This position requires an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph. This position is on-site with our customer in Chantilly, VA. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with ability to obtain a CI Poly Strong understanding of forensic and investigative data requirements Demonstrated experience designing and implementing software solutions in secure government environments Data processing, automation and ETL workflow orchestration GraphQL Server side technologies (Apache Tomcat) Log analytics and observability platforms, particularly Splunk Experience with SAFe Agile framework Advanced Proficiency with: One or more programming languages/frameworks: Java, .NET(C#), Python Frontend development using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, Bootstrap) Relational Databases and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL) REST APIs using technologies such as ASP.NET Core, Flask, Django, Express.js, or Spring Boot Git and other source control management systems Debugging and problem-solving techniques Message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Redis Lucene-based search/indexing platforms: Elasticsearch and Apache Solr Data streaming and integration technologies such as Apache Nifi Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S) API design, versioning, and integration best practices DevSecOps practices and tools Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Preferred Qualifications: Cloud Certification Benefits Generous cost sharing for medical insurance for the employee and dependents 100% company paid dental insurance for employees and dependents 100% company paid long-term and short-term disability insurance 100% company paid vision insurance for employees and dependents 401k plan with generous match and 100% immediate vesting Competitive Pay Generous paid leave and holiday package Tuition and training reimbursement Life and AD&D Insurance About AnaVation AnaVation is the leader in solving the most complex technical challenges for collection and processing in the U.S. Federal Intelligence Community.
