Dewberry is currently seeking an experienced West Senior Regional Marketing Manager in Denver, CO or Rancho Cordova, CA to lead our regional marketing team. This regional team focuses on transportation and water market segments. This position requires a marketing background in the AEC (architecture, engineering, or construction) industry or related management consulting business.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. Additional insurances, at no cost to the employee: life (employee only), accidental death and dismemberment, business travel and accident, and short- and long-term disability are also provided. Responsibilities

  • Work in tandem with operations and department managers, market segment leaders, and subject matter experts to determine pursuit win strategies, craft sales messages, assemble pursuit teams, and oversee a team that manages the proposal process.
  • Manage a six-member marketing team located in Rancho Cordova, CA and Denver, CO .
  • Support, mentor, and lead the region's teams in positioning for and submitting winning proposals. Follow pursuit best practices using the color team process as a guide.
  • Serve as a valuable member of the enterprise Marketing Leaders' Group which consists of peers across the organization.
  • Partner with the region's leadership to advance the west region growth strategy.
  • Work with local marketing and operations teams to develop and advance water and transportation market segment growth initiatives as well as business unit marketing plans.
  • Manage, develop, and maintain capture plans for critical pursuits and client action plans for high priority clients.
  • Possess the sales acumen to represent the firm appropriately with teaming partners and subcontractors, at events and business networking opportunities.
  • Comply with our corporate brand standards to present a consistent style within proposal and marketing collateral materials.
  • Support business development and operational personnel in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.


Required Skills & Required Experience

  • 5+ years' experience managing a marketing team.
  • 10+ years' experience in the AEC industry.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent related experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and prior experience leading collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Must have MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign experience. Other graphics software and CRM database experience are also desired.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Effective proposal management skills, including planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills.
  • Must be available to work overtime as necessary to meet business requirements.
  • Occasional travel among offices is also required.

Salary Range

The projected range for this position is $145,000-$180,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. We are hiring at all levels, and we encourage all candidates to apply.
