Media Blasting Technician Location: Fremont, CA Pay: $22.00 per hour Shifts Available: 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM Job Overview We are hiring a Media Blasting Technician to support surface preparation operations in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves operating blasting equipment, inspecting parts for quality, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. Training is provided for candidates with strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Operate media blasting equipment to clean, strip, or prepare surfaces Select and apply appropriate blasting media based on job requirements Inspect parts before and after blasting to verify quality standards Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance Record surface roughness (RA) measurements accurately in tracking systems Complete daily 6S tasks to maintain a clean and safe workspace Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Maintain accurate production and material usage records Assist with other shop or production tasks as needed Qualifications Manufacturing or shop experience preferred but not required Ability to follow work instructions and safety guidelines Strong attention to detail and quality Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment Ability to work assigned shift and stand for extended periods Why Apply?
