Job Description
  • Perform various on-site Safety audits along with employees and follow up with corrective actions.
  • Assist with preparation of training material and coordination of training on all EHS topics for employees at all levels.
  • Review incident and injury data and identify the needs for re-training.
  • Assist with the development of written Safety procedures by inspecting and reviewing areas, equipment, processes, and work activities.
  • Assist with the coaching of employees on a variety of various Safety responsibilities.
  • Perform job site compliance audits and conduct training under the supervision of Manager.
  • Assist to track work permits, contractor and vendor lists.
  • Inspect, refill, and control first aid cabinets, flammable cabinets, medical office and safety equipment.
  • Assist and maintain accurate and compliant programs in the EH&S Manual.
  • Assist with audit and track compliance with lockout/tagout, fall protection and confined space
  • Coordinate compliance with the Management of Change Program with Engineering, Operations and Maintenance teams.
  • Coordinate Safety Equipment Inspections and Tracking.
  • Coordinate required annual drills with Emergency Team.
  • Maintain various environmental compliance tracking sheets to include waste manifests, storm data, etc.
  • Maintain and track ISO 14001 and Safety Committee related communication material, meeting agenda and minutes
  • Excellent writing skills to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work with employees from a multinational workforce.
  • Ability to climb ladders, lift objects up to 15 lbs.
  • Able to work under hot conditions throughout the various sites' shop floors.
  • Communicate with front line leadership and with employees on the shop floor.
  • Capable to identify hazards related to work conditions, unsafe work practices.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Minimum 2years' of related experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft office is a must.
