The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

The Marketing Manager will develop and oversee the implementation of the business marketing strategy and product marketing in accordance with the company's overall goals and values that boost brand awareness and drive growth. This includes developing effective product positioning strategies, composing relevant messaging that highlights product value propositions, and designing effective programs, product launches and events that reach the business unit's target audience.

This role will engage corporate communications, events and marketing operations teams by providing clear briefs for the creation, production and dissemination of marketing collateral, communications and events with a heavy emphasis on demand generation. Further, they will collaborate with the VP of Strategic Marketing and other business unit marketing managers to create a center of marketing excellence.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the achievement of communications and marketing mission, goals, and financial objectives and ensuring evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress.

What You'll Do at Justrite:

Marketing Strategy and Road Map



  • Develop and implement a long-term business unit marketing and action plan including identification of target audiences and industries
  • Articulate and communicate key value propositions and distribution on relevant channels and measure the results that build brand awareness, generate leads and drive engagement with all categories of customers
  • Set annual and quarterly marketing goals and monitor performance of brand visibility, lead generation, funnel performance and engagement
  • Marketing Communication


  • Direct and manage broad-based marketing initiatives to meet pipeline requirements of varied account segments. Establish intimate knowledge of our database of marketing leads to uncover new opportunities for engagement


  • Manage and oversee the development of all brand publications including digital and social media using strong creative intuition and coaching creative development in others


  • Partner with corporate marketing and events through creative briefs for external messages including press releases, attributed quotes, event scripts, talking points, prepared remarks, social media posts and marketing collateral


  • Product Marketing


  • Work with product management team to develop the product content roadmap detailing campaigns, product launches and events.


  • Provide marketing strategies for all launches of new products and releases for both internal and external markets and maintain knowledge of all competitor activities and ensure adherence to customer requirements.


  • Support the integration and optimization of PIM systems (product information management), ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information is available to distributors.


  • Track and report out results across the entire buyer's journey analyze dashboards to understand where opportunities for further optimization and engagement exists


  • Budget Management and Reporting


  • Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the communications and
    marketing program and its activities, monitor progress, and evaluate performance.


  • Establish goals and KPIs for campaigns based on historical or projected results, and tie back actual performance and revenue impact.


  • Accountable for planning and managing budget for headcount, hiring and overall department resources either internal or external


  • People and Team Development:


  • Manages expectations, performance and result-focused marketing programs through a team of individual contributors' roles. Initiates ongoing staff communication and performance feedback and coach managers on developing others. Supports the JSG Code of Conduct and Core Value initiatives.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



  • Sales Growth: Percentage increase in sales through distributors and/or end users over specific periods.


  • Market Penetration: Number of new distributors onboarded and active within a given timeframe.


  • Marketing Material Utilization: Engagement metrics for marketing materials, such as download rates or usage frequency by distributors.


  • Campaign Performance: ROI of marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives, measured by lead generation and sales conversion rates.


  • Distributor Satisfaction: Feedback scores or Net Promoter Score (NPS) from distributor partners regarding support and resources provided.



Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred


  • A minimum of 10+ years previous experience in Marketing with progressive leadership responsibilities preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector


  • Strong business acumen and insight into larger business goals and objectives and understand how the role fits into the overall JSG strategy


  • Proven ability to create, write and edit compelling marketing content


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross functional teams such as sales and operations.
  • Past experience with managing a team, setting goals and priorities and providing coaching and career mentoring


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:



  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and other marketing platforms as required


  • Applies tools and processes to successfully manage budget.
  • Assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately.


Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $140,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
