Moog Inc. is currently recruiting a HW Product Engineer to support our Spaceflight hardware business in Gilbert, AZ! What we do: Moog's Gilbert AZ facility is a leading designer of spaceflight hardware and is a part of the Spacecraft Avionics business unit in the Space & Defense Group.Moog has partnered with NASA to provide electronic solutions for the Artemis Orion Crew Capsule, Viper Lunar Rover, Satellite Laser Communications Relay, OSIRIS-REX to study asteroid composition along with complete satellite buses for the defense department. We are seeking an electrical engineer (EE) to be a product engineer in our custom hardware spacecraft avionics projects team. Job scope includes supporting electronic design/development; supporting component procurement; manufacturing, unit/environmental testing, and product requirement verification. The successful candidate will collaborate with electrical / mechanical / FPGA / software designers and other system engineers to produce design documentation and coordinate the manufacture and test of high-speed digital and power distribution circuit card assemblies and subsystems. The HW Product Engineer directly supports project lead engineer and program manager to ensure product development activities follow Moog's phase-gate development process and that all product requirements are met, verified and thoroughly documented. This position reports to the Lead System Engineering Manager whose team is responsible for design and delivery of all Moog Space Avionics products that do not fall within the Integrated Avionics Unit product line (i.e., all custom products).
