Description Maine Medical CenterClerical/Administrative Support For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. This bonus will be prorated for part-time positions. Please note this bonus is not available for per-diem positions. Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth employees are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. Summary: The Nursing Unit Secretary at MaineHealth provides essential clerical, receptionist, and patient support services to ensure the smooth operation of the nursing unit. This role serves as a central point of communication for the unit, supporting nursing staff, providers, patients, and visitors while maintaining accurate records and coordinating unit activities. The Nursing Unit Secretary plays a vital role in supporting patient care by managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and assisting with transport needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
