A locally respected convenience retailer is seeking a Convenience Store Cashier to support daily store operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for every guest.

Hours & Pay

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 9AM - 5PM
• 2nd Shift: 2PM - 11PM
• 3rd Shift: 10PM - 5:30AM

Daily Tasks

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Operate the POS system and process cash, credit, fuel, gaming, tobacco, and alcohol transactions
• Verify identification for age-restricted purchases in compliance with regulations
• Keep cashier areas, coolers, shelves, and restrooms clean and well-stocked
• Prepare simple food and beverage items as needed
• Monitor fuel pumps and forecourt areas to ensure safety and compliance
• Receive and stock deliveries accurately
• Follow cash handling, loss prevention, and safety procedures
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 1+ years of cashier/customer service experience required
• Retail or gas station experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math skills and comfort using POS systems
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Dependable, honest, and professional demeanor
