Overview We are seeking a Patient Account Registrar, sometimes referred to as an Admission Representative. The Account Registrar will work in bed management and will have no direct patient contact, playing an important role in the coordination of bed management and direct admits within the facility. Their primary focus is ensuring efficient use of hospital beds and maintaining up-to-date and accurate records in collaboration with staff and physicians. This role is essential for streamlining hospital operations, reducing wait times, and ensuring the optimal use of resources, all while focusing on staff and physician interactions rather than patient-facing duties. Responsibilities
Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
1. Previous hospital experience as an admissions representative preferred.
2. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
3. Effective written and verbal communication skills
4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Customer Services experience required
7.
