Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Assistant Director is responsible for executing targeted recruitment activities and strategies to engage and enroll each new intake of students to UIC Law. This includes, but is not limited to hosting virtual recruitment events, travelling to attend recruitment fairs and LSAC forums, deploying communication plans, supporting event planning, and providing general counsel to prospective students and applicants. The assistant director is also responsible for developing an in-depth knowledge of and ability to leverage the functionality of the team's CRM, reading files and recommending admissions decisions, and participating in the management and interpretation of data to improve process and results. The budgeted salary range for this position is $65,000 to $72,000 annually. Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints. This position requires a valid driver's license. Significant travel is required to local and national law recruitment events, primarily in the Fall. This position offers a hybrid work environment based on the department's operational needs. This position sometimes requires working beyond normal business hours. Further, sitting for extended periods and using a computer are necessary to complete most tasks.
