The Strategic Growth Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing new business opportunities and strategic initiatives to drive significant revenue growth and market share expansion within the regional company. This role will involve a blend of market analysis, strategic planning, and collaborative execution with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

* **Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification:** Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification to pinpoint new growth opportunities within existing and emerging markets.
* **Strategic Planning & Development:** Develop comprehensive strategic growth plans, including business cases, financial projections, and go-to-market strategies for new products, services, and market segments.
* **Business Development & Partnership Management:** Identify, evaluate, and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, and acquisition targets that align with Airgas's growth objectives. Negotiate and manage relationships with key external stakeholders.
* **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, product development, and finance teams to ensure successful execution of growth initiatives. Champion growth strategies across the organization.
* **Project Management:** Lead and manage strategic growth projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of defined KPIs.
* **Performance Monitoring & Reporting:** Track, analyze, and report on the performance of growth initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as needed to optimize results.
* **Innovation & Best Practices:** Stay abreast of industry innovations, technological advancements, and best practices in strategic growth and business development, integrating relevant insights into Airgas's strategy.
* **Customer & Market Insights:** Gather and synthesize customer feedback and market insights to inform product development, service enhancements, and overall strategic direction.

  • Qualifications

    * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
    * **Experience:** Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic planning, business development, management consulting, or a similar role focused on driving growth, preferably within the industrial gases, manufacturing, or distribution sectors.
    * **Strategic Thinking:** Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic plans, identify market opportunities, and translate them into actionable initiatives.
    * **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data, conduct financial modeling, and make data-driven decisions.
    * **Communication & Interpersonal Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
    * **Leadership & Influence:** Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and drive consensus.
    * **Project Management:** Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently and deliver results on time and within budget.
    * **Travel:** Ability to travel up to 60% as needed for market visits, client meetings, and internal collaborations.
