Overview of Position:

Heiser has an immediate opening for a quality-minded Auto Body Estimator. This position will greet customers and quickly assess their needs understanding the difficulty of their situation. The estimator follows the job through the entire process from initial greeting and handling all insurance related communications, overseeing parts ordering, keeping customers updated through the process and quality controls the vehicle through repairs to the final delivery. We are seeking a professional individual who demonstrates strong customer service skills, is detail and quality oriented, and has a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction.

Responsibilities


  • Inspect damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage




  • Estimate cost of labor and parts and prepare estimate records




  • Work with Insurance Companies regarding repairs




  • Evaluate practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before the damage


Requirements
Minimum 1+ year(s) relevant experience
Valid and clean WI Driver's License
Previous auto body shop experience a plus
Ability to function as part of a team
Willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced work environment
