BWBR is a commercial architecture, interior design, and planning firm focused on creating thoughtful, functional, and innovative environments within our core healthcare, higher education and science & technology markets. We are seeking an early-career Interior Designer with 1-5 years of professional experience to join our collaborative design team. The ideal candidate is design-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced commercial design environment.

Responsibilities

* Assist with the development of interior design concepts, space planning, and design presentations.

* Support the selection and specification of finishes, furniture, and materials.

* Produce presentation materials, including renderings, mood boards, and graphics.

* Participate in meetings, design reviews, and internal quality assurance efforts.

* Work with a team to prepare design documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.

* Coordinate with internal project teams as well as external consultants and product reps.

* Assist with construction administration tasks such as submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits.

* Maintain organized project files and adhere to client and firm standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited program

* 1-5 years of professional experience in a commercial interior design or architecture firm

* Working knowledge of commercial building codes, ADA requirements, and industry standards

* Proficient in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Enscape a plus

* Strong design sensibility, graphic skills, and attention to detail

* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team

* Clear verbal and written communication skills

* Professional, proactive, and eager to learn
