As a Security Guard - Campus Security Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a prominent educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the campus. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, assist with access control, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the education environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards as observed during patrols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and helping to manage the flow of people within the location as required.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including guiding individuals to designated areas or providing information to first responders.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
