Summary:

The Director of Practice Operations - Neurosurgery & Spine oversees the operational aspects of our practice sites to ensure exceptional patient care and a positive team culture. This role supports multiple locations, including our main campus in Scarborough and Pain Care Clinics in Kennebunk and Sanford.

As a key leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving practice culture and team engagement
  • Leading management and staff development, recruitment, and retention
  • Ensuring strong financial performance and operational efficiency
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (IS, HR, Billing, Credentialing, Legal, Finance, and more) to maintain compliance and optimize workflows
  • Partnering with medical and administrative leadership on strategic planning and business development initiatives

This position requires a dynamic leader who can balance operational excellence with strategic vision to support growth and deliver high-quality care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or related field preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Five years of progressively advanced financial and administrative management in a hospital outpatient practice environment required.
