Job Description

Position Summary
Take the next step in your manufacturing career as a Lead Injection Machine Operator. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll not only produce high-quality ceramic cores using injection machines, but also oversee all departments: Kiln, Injection, and Inspection. You'll guide daily production activities, support team operations, and ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Shift

  • 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Sunday - Thursday)

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support daily operations for injection machine production

  • Set up and operate injection machines to manufacture ceramic cores to specification

  • Prepare dies and ensure materials are ready for production

  • Monitor team output to meet production goals and quality standards

  • Inspect parts, identify defects, and ensure accurate completion of production records (routers, CQCs, etc.)

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting issues

  • Train and mentor team members on processes, quality standards, and safety procedures

  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve processes

  • Ensure proper material levels and workflow continuity

  • Promote and enforce safety standards and maintain 6S workplace organization

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned

  • Proven leadership ability in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive team performance

  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to lead by example

Qualifications

  • Basic math skills and ability to interpret work instructions

  • Experience with molds or plastic injection processes preferred

  • Prior experience in a lead or senior operator role is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19 to $20 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
