Pay: $104000 - $114000 base + annual target bonus

Location: Morrisville, NC | Lenovo office (up to 1 day / week remote)

What this job involves:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Change Manager to lead organizational transformation initiatives. This role requires a proven track record in managing large-scale relocation projects, with the ability to guide teams and stakeholders through complex transitions while maintaining business continuity and employee engagement.

What your day to day will look like:

  • Stakeholder Management Partner with relevant stakeholders including senior leadership, HR, facilities management, IT, and business units to align change initiatives with organizational objectives. Gather business requirements and aspirations to inform change strategies. Facilitate executive steering committees and provide regular progress updates to C-suite leadership.
  • Change Strategy & Planning Drive comprehensive change management strategies. Develop detailed change roadmaps, stakeholder engagement plans, and communication frameworks that ensure seamless transitions while minimizing business disruption.
  • Relocation Project Leadership Lead end-to-end change management for major relocation initiatives, including office moves and facility consolidations. Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timeline dependencies, and ensure all stakeholders are prepared for operational transitions. Perform limited administrative and project management functions including: schedule and document meetings, gather data, analyze and synthesize outcomes, create task lists, and coordinate cross-functional activities.
  • Communication & Training Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that keep employees informed and engaged throughout change processes. Design and deliver training programs that enable teams to adapt to new environments, processes, and technologies.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation Identify potential resistance points and operational risks associated with large-scale changes. Implement proactive mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address challenges before they impact business operations.
  • Performance Measurement Establish key performance indicators and success metrics for change initiatives. Monitor adoption rates, employee satisfaction, and business impact to ensure change objectives are met and sustained.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years of change management experience with at least 2 years focused on large-scale relocation projects involving 500+ employees. Demonstrated success managing multi-site relocations, office consolidations, or major facility transitions.
  • Educational Background bachelor's degree in business administration, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or related field. Change management certification (Prosci, Kotter, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills Proficiency in change management methodologies, project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet), and communication platforms. Experience with space planning software and facilities management systems preferred.
  • Core Competencies Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels. Strong analytical capabilities for assessing change readiness and measuring impact. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in related field or PMP certification.
  • Experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, or workplace strategy.
  • Background in technology implementations during relocation projects.
  • Previous experience in the Research Triangle Park region or similar high-tech markets.
