The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The main functions of the Food Service Worker are the loading, transporting of the food trucks, washing of dishes, removal of garbage and trash, and overall sanitation of the department.

Qualifications:

Preferred:

• High School Graduate preferred or equivalent

Scheduling Requirements:

• Part Time Evening
• Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Essential Functions:

• Delivers par stocks to designated floors
• Delivers and picks up all patient food trucks after breakfast, lunch and dinner meal service
• Transport food trucks with soiled trays from patient floors to dish room
• Patient food carts are returned to designated floors in a timely manner
• All pellets, plates, bowls and domes are restocked
• Soaks, washes, rinses, sanitizes, and stores all pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation of service
• Removes all garbage from the department as needed and instructed by supervisor and places clean liners in garbage cans
• Cleans and sanitizes cans as needed
• Garbage dumpsters are cleaned and sanitized daily
• Sweeps and mops floors in the entire department, including under all equipment and moving any equipment with wheels to ensure proper sanitation of the floor

-Be sure that Dish room is set up & Dish Machine has clean water, record temperature & Log

-Fill 3 compartment sink & check Sanitizer Solution,

Log

-Clean & put away dishes and pots

-Assist Tray-line Supervisor in delivery of Lunch Trays

-Sanitize all speed racks and carts

1:30 3:30

-Begin cleaning dirty trays from Lunch & washing pots,

-Sanitize all speed racks and carts

-Take out any & all Empty Boxes & Trash

-Wash any pots & put away clean dishes

-Wash/Hose out Trash and box bin,

-Take hour brake 3:30-4:00

4:00 6:00

-Finish with any Lunch dishes

-Wash/Hose out Trashcans and empty box bin,

-Change dish machine water and record temperature

-Aid the tray line supervisor with delivery of Dinner Trays

-Ensure back kitchen area is swept and mopped

-Ensure ALL TRASHCANS are emptied and bag is replaced

6:00 - 7:30

-Begin cleaning dirty trays from Dinner & washing pots,

-Sanitize all speed racks and carts

-Ensure all Pots, Pans & Dishes are put away & stored properly

-Remove all trash & boxes

-Check out with closing Supervisor and/or Manager on duty,
