What You'll Do:

• Greet visitors, employees, and/or clients in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the retail location.
• Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and maintaining visitor and employee logs as required.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including providing information and support to first responders.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and site leadership regarding incidents, issues, or concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted behaviors and provide customer service to all individuals entering the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
