Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrol Driver in Brookshire, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere for employees and guests. This role requires both driving and carrying a firearm while responding to incidents and providing assistance as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents encountered during patrols.
• Work closely with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents, following Allied Universal protocols and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
