As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a dynamic retail location, you will conduct routine patrols on foot and/or by bike, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
• Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
• Assist with access control procedures and/or visitor management as needed.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and offer assistance to staff and/or customers as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
