As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entrances, patrol the property, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with tenants and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to visitors, tenants, and staff as needed.
• Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as required for security-related matters at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
