At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role is currently $22.75 per hour.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain inventory of boxes on packaging line.
• Inspect packaging materials for defects.
• Inspect final cheese product for quality.
• Properly clean and sanitize all equipment following Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Package final cheese product into totes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs.
• Ability to understand and apply Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment and comply with all safety practices.
• Maintain a clean work area according to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Good communication skills to communicate with co-workers and incoming/outgoing shifts.
• Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment that operates 24/7/365, this includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• This position will be exposed to working in a wet/slippery environment with loud noise in varying degrees of temperature
• Specific vision may be required for this position, including close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time periods
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 38 pounds
• Frequent walking and standing
• Climb up and down stairs/ladders, bending and reaching required
