Summary
We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead a team of full-cycle recruiters and strengthen our talent acquisition function during a pivotal HR technology transformation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that supports our mission across New York State while developing a high-performing recruiting team and exploring new possibilities for your own growth and development. The ideal candidate is a steady, people-focused leader who thrives in ambiguity and brings clarity, accountability, and strong execution to a dynamic environment. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as the role requires clear expectation-setting, consistent follow-through, and effective partnership with stakeholders of all levels across the organization. You will guide the growth of your team, driving accountability and consistency, removing obstacles, and bringing out the best in an already-strong team. You will manage your own requisition portfolio and help advance our transition to Workday; experience with enterprise talent systems is highly desirable. Physical Requirements
Up to 5% travel primarily within NY State. May be required to attend functions outside of normal business hours. The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $129,000 - $177,100. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
