Your role

As a Quality Assurance Technician, your mission is to be responsible hands-on metallurgical and materials testing laboratory in support of manufacturing. You will report to Quality Assurance Supervisor.

You will



  • Be responsible for the efficient operation of the Test Facility
  • Assist in maintaining Henrob Corporation's Quality and Environmental Management System standards.
  • Assistin the design, writing and implementation of laboratory policies, procedures and work instructions.

  • Perform laboratory testing and inspection including, but not limited to:Wire tensile strength, Rockwell and micro-hardness hardness testing of heat treated parts, Metallographic sample preparation, Microstructure interpretation,Plating thickness inspection,Salt spray corrosion testing
  • Work with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues, field failures and problem investigation.


  • Maintaincalibration for inspection, measuring and laboratory test equipment.
  • Preparation of all necessary reports as required by customers and staff personnel, e.g., PPAP, 8 Discipline Problem Reports, and laboratory test reports.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum 1-2 years direct Quality experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with various gages: Height Gauge, Micrometer, Calipers, Bore Gages, etc.
  • Working knowledge of an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Hands-on experience in the use of inspection, measuring and test equipment.
  • Computer proficiency.
