Lab Assistant II (100% Limited)

The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a Lab Assistant to support innovative research focused on functional ultrasound imaging. The ideal candidate will have experience with image processing and, preferably, Python programming to assist with data acquisition and analysis. This role works closely with Neurointensive Care Unit clinical teams and operational staff to coordinate and facilitate research data collection in a dynamic clinical research environment.

*This is a 100% limited role which may convert to career.*

Hourly range: $23.12-$27.20

Required:

• Python coding skills
• Experience with medical image analysis
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility in responding to changing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Ability to work independently after training and some continued supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with and sustain cooperative working relationships with undergraduate students and lab scientists
• Ability to learn rapidly and follow through tasks with details
