As the Senior LVN Supervisor, you will serve as the clinic-level supervisor overseeing all nursing and clinical services (Rheumatology and Endocrinology Care). The Sr. LVN Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in alignment with the standards of the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians, while also managing key administrative functions that support daily operations. In addition, you will perform administrative duties including quality monitoring, clinical supply management, supporting established clinic workflows and staff education. Under the direct supervision of the designated clinical staff member, you will provide direct patient care for a diverse patient population, while maintaining high standards of care, and recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms of life threatening emergencies.

Pay Range: $37.60 - $57.95 hourly
Qualifications

Required:

  • CA LVN License with Intravenous Therapy and Blood withdrawal certification
  • Current BLS Card from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • 3+ years LVN experience
  • Ability to take vital signs, administer medications and obtain drug refills as needed
  • Ability to recognize abnormal laboratory values and report to the physician.
  • Knowledge of symptomatology of common and or life threatening medical problem
  • Interpersonal skills in maintaining a cooperative working environment with the physicians, staff, and all health providers
  • Performs phlebotomy, CPR, Injections, and other skills within scope of practice.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, Windows computer function, computer navigation, and ability to use computerized patient care systems.
  • Knowledge of all safety requirements when handling biohazardous specimens or contaminated instruments.
  • Verbal skills to effectively convey sensitive information in a courteous manner in person or on the telephone.
  • Ability to lead a team with effective communication, collaboration and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members, faculty, patients, nursing staff and others.
  • Team building and leadership skills, preferably to include prior supervisory experience
