Human Resources Operations Supervisor IND (Neurodegenerative Dis) Full Time 87550BR Job Summary Under the general direction of the Department Human Resources Operations Supervisor and Financial Officer, the HR/Operations Supervisor supervises a team of 3+ direct reports and temporary support employees, and works with 160+ employees department (Organized Research Unit - ORU), which includes faculty, postdocs, affiliates (including volunteers and interns), graduate students, visiting scholars, non-faculty academic, and staff. The ORU includes an approximately 20+ employee experimental animal facility/vivarium located on a separate campus. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $84,800 - $127,200 (Annual Rate). Founded in 1999, the IND is committed to creating therapeutics that will halt diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, and dementia resulting from traumatic brain injuries. The IND is poised to make serious contributions to this struggle at the frontier of neuroscience and medicine. The mission of the Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases is to discover causes and develop cures for these illnesses with an innovative program of basic research and clinical medicine.
