Summary Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for a Learning Project Lead to join out team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN The Learning Project Lead coordinates and supports system-level learning design projects across Baptist Health, ensuring initiatives are efficiently planned, tracked, and delivered from intake through final release. This role bridges project coordination with learning experience design operations by maintaining timelines, facilitating stakeholder communication, and coordinating review and feedback cycles. Working in partnership with the Learning Experience Design team and other stakeholders, the Learning Project Lead helps ensure learning deliverables are completed on schedule and aligned with organizational goals. Project Planning and Coordination
Develops and maintains detailed project plans for learning design initiatives, ensuring clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Facilitates kickoff and progress meetings to align project teams and stakeholders. Tracks project progress, identifies risks or delays, and communicates needed adjustments to maintain schedule integrity. Maintains project documentation that reflects priorities, timelines, and established standards. Coordinates across multiple initiatives to track timelines, identify potential scheduling conflicts, and communicate workload impacts to leadership.
Intake Management and Prioritization
Manages the intake of learning requests using project management tools. Reviews learning and performance support requests to confirm goals, scope, key stakeholders, and gather additional information as needed. Partners with the Learning Experience Design team to prioritize projects based on impact, urgency, and team capacity. Tracks and updates project status across all active and completed initiatives to support reporting and visibility.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
Serves as the primary point of contact for project status updates and stakeholder communications. Coordinates subject matter expert collaboration, review cycles, and feedback to support communication, workflow efficiency, and alignment across projects. Provides stakeholders with updates on project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Promotes collaboration, transparency, and open communication across projects.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Maintains accurate project tracking and reporting on progress, completion, and timelines. Monitors project progress to identify delays, obstacles, and inefficiencies and recommend workflow improvements. Prepares data summaries and reports to communicate project progress and outcomes. Coordinates post-project reviews to capture insights, evaluate outcomes, and strengthen future projects.
Technology and Tool Proficiency
Uses project management tools to organize, track, and communicate project timelines and deliverables. Stays current on project coordination methods and digital collaboration tools. Recommends process or tool improvements that enhance coordination, communication, and team efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in organizational development, education, instructional design, project management, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Three or more years of experience coordinating projects, supporting learning or organizational initiatives, or working in a project support or learning operations role. PMP, CAPM, or other formal project management training is a plus. Proficiency in project coordination and project management tools. Strong understanding of instructional design workflows, course development lifecycles, and content review processes. Ability to plan and manage multiple learning design projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with subject matter experts, designers, and system stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with close attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, or similar) sufficient to understand project scope and dependencies. Analytical mindset for tracking project metrics, reporting progress, and identifying workflow improvements. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a creative, fast-paced learning design environment. Knowledge of adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and content design best practices preferred.
