The Position

The Opportunity:

Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers. As a Field Engineering Specialist you will:

  • showcase your expertise in technical repair for Roche assigned product lines

  • offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory

  • provide routine technical support, on-site service and repair of Roche products

  • serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance

  • diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures

  • document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction

Who You Are:

  • Field Engineering Specialist

  • High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent workexperience

  • 2 years of experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking or equivalent level of competency attained through appropriate training curriculum or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work after hours, provide weekend and holiday support on a rotated basis within an assigned territory and/or geographic region and be on call 24/7 during rotation

  • Good written/verbal communication, organization and prioritization skill

  • Highly effective customer service skills, which includes a positive attitude, helpful customer interaction, and maintenance of ongoing customer relationships

  • Knowledge of basic chemistry

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

This is a field-based role. Travel: travel requirement in Indianapolis for formal training and co-travel within the Nevada area for training purposes.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Nevada is $71,100-$132,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
