Cable Installation Technician (On-Site) Location: 246 Federal Rd, Brookfield, CT 06804 Placement Type: Contract-to-Hire (3 Months) Pay Rate: $20-$26/hr (W2) Category: Technician Main Skill Area: Install - Cabling (Puller/Tech) About the Role We are seeking Cable Installation Technicians to support a growing lowvoltage team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow in structured cabling, installations, and security systems. Work takes place on-site in construction or office building environments, with responsibilities that include Cat6/Cat6a cabling, terminations, CCTV installations, and various low-voltage tasks. This is a contract-to-hire role, and the team is looking to bring on long-term, reliable talent to fill backfill needs. Key Responsibilities * Install, pull, and route Cat6/Cat6a cabling * Perform cable terminations and testing * Install and maintain CCTV camera systems * Assist with access control installations * Perform punchdowns, WAP installs, and other low-voltage duties * Maintain clean and safe work environments * Collaborate with a high-performing, team-oriented crew Top Required Skills * Cable installation * Cat6/Cat6a experience * Terminations * CCTV experience * Access control familiarity Nice-to-Have Skills * Punchdowns * WAP installs * Additional low-voltage/security experience * Broad cabling What We're Looking For Personality and team fit are just as important as technical ability.
