Summary Description Of Position

The Inventory Control Clerk Is expected to maintain accurate on hand inventory, cycle counting and physical inventory of both purchased, and customer provided materials. Also, check expired product codes, and provides excellent customer service. Inventory control Clerk also support their managers, by helping identify discrepancies and coming up with solutions to problems. Duties will be assigned by the Material Manager.


Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. A Valid Driver's License
  3. Must qualify for airport SIDA badge
  4. General Computer Skills

Major Responsibility Areas and Duties:

  1. The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for verifying, counting, and recording of the physical lot counts. The ICC shall be the "first line of defense" in trouble shooting variances.



  1. Retrieve NIS paperwork from the assigned turn in locations.
  2. Research as to why the parts were not in stock.
  3. Make the necessary adjustments within the WINGS system.
  4. Routine Inventory Control procedures.
  5. Conduct regularly scheduled cycle counts.
  6. Providing a Shelf-life report for expired items.


Additional Duties:

  1. Verify part unit of measure (UOM).
  2. Count and record blind count.
  3. Seal and re-label all parts that are staged in location.
  4. Record any additional comments on cycle count discrepancies and forward to your Supervisor/Manager for resolution.


Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to climb and work from ladders, work stands, and other heights.
  • Must be able to work with one or both hands extended overhead.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
