Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
  • Serve on the organizational team responsible for the administration of budgeting and financial matters, project management oversight, and fostering strong relationships with our business partners across the company.
  • Support the Business Relationship Manager role building connections with internal IT stakeholders and assisting with new project intake including development and implementation of technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with business customers on new IT initiatives, gathering requirements and assisting the Systems Manager with guiding stakeholders to appropriate solutions.
  • Support the departmental budget through financial management, including guiding and assisting systems managers and their teams with tasks such as the capital optimization process. Utilization of several applications, such as Oracle EBS, Oracle BI and Unifier, for ad hoc financial analysis, procurement related tasks, and when needed assist with the capital project process.
  • Support sound Project Management through the understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) procedures, IT Capital Project Management Procedure, and the IT Project Management Guide, driving attainment and accountability across the department as well as client projects.
  • Support accountability and provide analytical support through the development of new reporting that receives information from numerous sources and provides a cohesive, overall view of department performance. This includes the development of PowerBI Reporting, PowerApps, etc.
  • Support various production systems by learning the systems and assist in high-level application testing, routine maintenance changes, and small to medium production moves.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering and a minimum of one (1) year of experience including co-op or internships, working on engineering related projects.
Relevant Work Experience
  • Prior knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerBI/Automate and Power Apps, preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of Azure DevOps environment, preferred.
  • Applied project management techniques, preferred.
  • Experience with project management applications and software such as Project and Primavera, preferred.
  • Experience with budget forecasting, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team, preferred.
  • Demonstrated passion for problem solving, preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, talent development, and a team orientation, preferred.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and the confidence to speak up when appropriate, preferred
  • A proven ability to collaborate effectively, paired with curiosity, empathy, openness, and an innovative mindset, preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Driver's License Required
Additional Physical Demands
  • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
